Dave Costello
Dave Costello, a talented performer and songwriter from Wigan, Greater Manchester, has always been drawn to music. Influenced by artists like Ryan Adams, The Verve, and Howie Day, Dave's sound blends heartfelt lyrics and melodic guitar. He picked up the guitar at 15 and later studied Music GCSE and A-Level Music Technology, which led him to teach music.
Having played in various original and cover bands in the North West, Dave ventured into acoustic singer-songwriter music. His debut single, "Tear You Down," was released in March 2021, followed by his self-produced debut album ONE. The lockdowns of 2020 allowed Dave to focus on writing, and his music became a way to stay grounded during a difficult time.
In September 2023, Dave released his second album, Pieces, which was well received. He's since released new singles like "Never Gonna Lose" and "The Thick Of It," with more on the way, including "Biggest Mistake" in March 2024 and "Negative 8" in July 2024. His upcoming single, "Among The Crowd," is set for release on October 26, 2024.
